Unbelievable, I weighed up getting them from Seatwave, even had them in my basket, and DEFINITELY no warnings about previous purchase history or any caveats. They cannot get away with not refunding. Wish I had taken a screen shot now. From the SEATWAVE site: VERIFIED TICKETS In addition to...

If we count just competitive fixtures, the following current EPL clubs have visited us at least once previously: Arsenal Liverpool Southampton Watford Bournemouth Burnley Palace West Ham Leicester Hull M'Boro Sunderland We obviously will go up with 2 teams that have visited us, so it is likely...

It's a large pizza, do you want it 8 slices or 12....I've already told you 8 because I can't eat 12 slices of pizza!

Okay, this is a bit like that viral video with the girlfriend who could only eat 8 slices of pizza and not 12...

I wasn't moaning, glad those that go the length and breadth get priority. Not once moaned, just your logic doesn't work given it sold out in the first hour of being available to 1110 points - which leaves a lot of people who have done a fair amount of away games. If they had done more, then...

Why, does that mean more tickets would be available then? There would still only be 2700 tickets sold, just more people with a higher number of loyalty points missing out. Your logic is badly flawed.

I don't think that is true. It is 10% up to a max required of 3000k. Otherwise ManUtd would have 7500 away fans every week!

Plenty of posts on this earlier in the thread. West Midlands Police not known for their welcoming approach. Strange that none in P8 (directly next to our allocation) but 100 available on Seatwave in P7.

Mad that tickets have sold out this quickly for Villa, but still tickets available for Wolves on Friday!

Don't panic just yet. The system cannot deal with a certain number of sales in a given period so reverts to a sold out message until it catches up on the transactions. Wolves has been sold out numerous times since going on sale, and still tickets available.

I think the ticket selling software sort of shuts down when it is experiencing a high level of sales in one go. Therefore it reverts to not available until a set number of transactions are complete so that it can catch up on itself. Could be sold out of course, but then again, it might just be...

I think most police forces do it as a price per category of game, regardless of actual fan numbers. We could turn up with 500 and their policing cost would be the same with us at 4000. Its how they work. How do you think they price games that are POTG?

£30,000 per 1000 empty seats would have been a logical reason for thinking they might. 3000 or 5000 fans celebrating is not going to be any more or less of a reminder to the home fans.

P8 isn't available at all on Seatwave, whereas there are 60 odd seats in P7. They might be they are able to offer up P8 as an additional block, and assume that is about 400 tickets.

The Doug Ellis stand is about a 9k capacity, and our allocation looks about a 3rd, which accords with 2700 tickets. Might be wrong, but I think our allocation looks a bit like this:

T5 block in the North Stand - looking at how many tickets are available on Seatwave, got to be worth a blue and white smash and grab. Unlike 'Boro last season, these are available through a 3rd party, so not quite the same.

Hard to see where an additional allocation would be then. unless they can offer up R1 and R2, but you'd assume ST holders in their North Stand. My poor away record might see me miss out on Thursday...(rightly to people who have attended a lot more away games than me.)

On that Seatwave link it shows P1 to P8 (availability in P4 and P7 at present) and all other blocks around the ground, but not P9 to P11. Is it possibly these 3 blocks are where any additional away tickets could be, if the current allocation is Q1 to Q3?
