The club will be getting the £15 back...what you think if they gave each person £15 back in cash they wouldn't get that back at some point!? It's £15 off the trip whichever way you want to look at it whether it's off the travel or off the ticket. It's only hollow if you want to be cynical about it.

They've not announced the loyalty points yet. Wouldn't be surprised that a free ticket = 0 loyalty points to avoid 2000 ticket purchases and only 400 at the game...

That's no different to sticking on £15 onto your e-cash card yourself. There would be no point in buying a ticket to achieve this.
