No, because 1) an away ticket isn't available to purchase from the club. They are therefore not selling those tickets. You cannot by an away fan ticket from the club.
2) A platinum member is already an ST holder. The only occasion these individual match day prices will apply will be cup home...
The two ways being 1) an away fan, 2) a platinum member - agreeing to buy every single ticket home and away during a season.
They are the 2 scenarios.
Brilliant.
You're trying to create arguments with me that aren't there.
I've already said the booking fee should be added to the ticket price. There would be no difference in revenue as the booking fee is adding to each ticket whether multiple purchase or not. You yourself commented on my post which said...
Which completely blows your point about accountancy reasons!!!
This actually demonstrates that the booking fee is just a made up charge that the club can drop or apply to whatever condition they feel. You have proved a very good point. Thanks!
It seems you genuinely believe this booking fee is a real thing, like the £1 or £1.50 per ticket covers a specific overhead for the ticket sales or what have you. It's just an extra charge, it will have no relation to any specific overhead or cost, and will simply be an extra £1 or £1.50 in the...
Why would it have any impact on ST's?
Why doesn't the individual match ticket price include the cost of staff / call centre / ticket office? Generally when you price something, you price it to include overheads and profit. My argument is that you should be adding £1 to the price of those match...
Different though, most concerts for example are a one off at a particular venue, which you can understand as a different promoters are involved.
This is a club with repeat customers with repeat events.
So it's just part of the ticket price then! The booking fee is just nonsense, each ticket costs £1 more than advertised.
The only reason to have a 'booking fee' is if there's a method that doesn't require one and others that do.
You would have thought going in person to the Amex would mean you go into the store, maybe purchase something, so therefore there would be no booking fee!? That just seems ludicrous. Lunacy
Surely charges for the other methods are understandable for setting up the infrastructure, but...
It's basically a stealth tax. Our ticket prices are not our ticket prices.
First you have to deduct the saved cost of your travel. For 90% or so attending the Amex, this will range from £4 to £10 or so.
Then you have to add the booking fee, either £1, or £1.50.
It's not very honest this...
If online is £1, and telephone and in-person is £1.50, then all methods of purchasing tickets cost at least £1.
So why are prices not raised to include the £1, online bookings are FREE, and in-person + telephone are 50p!? Is this all a bit Spinal Tap!!??
