Thank you @Giraffe - always the first thread I turn to. Cheeky question - would you be able to easily produce a graph of your blue table showing where we were 'predicted' to finish throughout the season? At what point did we reach sixth and stay there? That is - has it been on for months, or...
I'm not counting the Palace points in my head. We went 1-0 up anyway after that, and still managed to throw it away - so there's no guarantee we would have got the extra couple of points, it was of our own doing. But the Spurs game we basically did everything we could and won handsomely...
No - just the one. We'll be a goal up and celebrating, and in the last minute they'll have a random pot-shot from nowhere, which our keeper will let slip through his hands beside the post. They will then start singing 'Where's your Europe gone'.
Yes - but there should probably be a special exception for Wolves (and West Ham) where we have an expected 3 points, regardless of where they ended up the season before.
If every team followed it's tracker predictions from this point onwards - that would be the final points and table.
Obviously, if every team replicated their form up till now in the second half of the season, it would be different - for example, we could/would end up on +28 (68) points.
If the Bournemouth & Palace games come after Leicester, then the least we can be is 11 over at the halfway stage. Carry on like that and we're looking at 62 points!!
