No need to be so glum and prepared in advance.
It is surely a 50/50 that we bring in a replacement not a 0% chance.
From there it is another 50/50 whether NSC gives the choice of player a thumbs up or a thumbs down.
It's 50/50 for me.
I don't expect a signing, but at the same time I wouldn't be at all surprised if there is one. Potter's comments about having no one similar to Welbeck in the squad make me think it's possible we are trying to get someone else in.
I sort of agree but keep changing my mind.
Welbeck, Undav with Enciso and Ferguson is enough.
But then I think : what if Welbeck or Undav got injured ? And then I think perhaps one more isn't a bad idea.
I haven't found any rumours of Undav going on loan - and I'd be very, very surprised the rumour has any credence anyway given we only have 2 strikers over the age of 20 at the club.
It's certain we bring in a replacement for Maupay though - Welbeck + Undav backed up by the U21s Enciso, Everitt...
Clubs reach agreement :

"Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal in principle to sign Neal Maupay from Brighton & Hove Albion, The Athletic understands."
I'd say a right-sided striker/winger and a left back. I'll do some advanced searches on Transfermrkt when I have a spare afternoon and leave no stone unturned.
So, ~£115million incoming from Biss, Cucu, Maupay and Østigard and £18million outgoing for Enciso and Adingra....
We must be able to sing a left back...
And while we're at it let's get some contract extensions done.
Obviously with that warchest, if we can't afford a striker now, we never will.
