There is a difference when the match is already paid for though in the ST.
The post match special train has significant negative impact on the 'usually delightful' Southern Rail experience. If it was in the afternoon, then not too bad, but for an evening game it means added misery.
Transport grief that the post match special train disruption to an evening service causes ?
If they got them onto the train and out of dodge asap it would help, but the wheels of Southern Rail turn slowly.
FA support the ticket allocations etc.
Leave your facemasks at home :nono: [emoji38]ol:
No South Stand tickets for albion at all.
So what is the maximum capacity for this one now ?

It's to do with not rewarding bad behaviour.
Never before have explosive firecrackers been set off in the crowd at the Amex. Never before have a steward or 2 been put in hospital by away fans.
Those 2 things were always going to lead to a ticketting sanction. To be honest I'm surprised it...
OK, fair point. If I'd realised they'd be locking the doors I'd have got out before the bolts dropped.
But the point for the future is that is what I'd have to do for the cup game. Sacrifice some of the matchnight package.
So £40 in the pub still looks good....
Whatever slant you like to put on it, I guess.
But the reality is just that the grief that this match causes for afterdark games is just not worth it.
£40 beer money ( with no travel pain ) in a pub showing the game wins.
Whether it makes sense or not, it was the reality.
I clapped the players off, had my post match beer watching and discussing the match highlights, and then got locked in the stadium before being prevented by police horses from getting to Falmer station.
I guess what you are saying is that I...
The doors were shut to get out of WSU while the police marched the goons to Falmer station. Then there was a 2nd kettle outside preventing anyone getting to the station until their special train had gone.
Does it ?
Last Tuesday was a nightmare being held back while the goonery was marched to the station.
I made my last connection with 8 minutes to spare. Not tempted much by a repeat to be honest.
£40 is 8 pints in a pub showing the game ( with no transport grief being held back etc with train connections to make ).
Unless they are virtually giving tickets away the pub seems a better night out.
No arrests for smokey-firecrackers.
No lessons learnt about after dark scheduling.
Same setup. We expect the same results.
Still, at least it is on in the pub.
