Afternoon drinking clubs in the late 70's early 80's.
Yep, there was a Livestock market ran by Bannisters. It was on the site now occupied by Sainsburys around the corner from the train station. There was also the Hayworth hotel, which has a "Market Bar". It's now gone as well.- Blackadder
