There was nothing that Root could've done, that was definitely unplayable. Cook's however is debatable. It was a good bouncer but it was over head height and I'd argue that he should be ducking those 15 minutes before lunch given the situation.

Philander absolutely all over us at the moment. Needs a monumental effort just to make it to the end of the day, if Cook or Root go before tea it'll be the beginning of a collapse for sure.
