I have never said otherwise but he is not a wide man akin to Iziquierdo who has been suggested there or Knockaert who has also been suggested to play more central ie where March is filling in. see the copied posts;

I think that could have worked but then nobody expected Bissouma to be brought on early and be so lack lustre and offer very little. I am still undecided about him.
I was thinking more of 3 central midfielders and 1 wide man rather than as we play now with 2 and 2 wide men plus a No 10. Like at the moment due to injuries etc Bissouma, Kayal, Bernardo or Bruno and then either Izquierdo or Knockhaert out wide. Bernado/Bruno being replaced by Stephens and...
Yes but their experience in general may carry them forward as opposed to a 20 yr old untried. I think, but could be wrong. that both Bernardo and Bruno would slot in as a DM in front of the back four making virtually a five better than a 21 year old who has never played for either the first...
I do not agree as I do not think that we are far enough away from the bottom 3 for us to take a chance on a kid so I would sooner we stick with an experienced player to play just in front of the back 4 so not totally out of position.
Unfortunately we have never been in a comfortable position whereby CH could have thrown on a youngster to give them match experience or come to that name them on the bench
Dont think that any of the 3 will start until the cup game in January. If Gross is fit he will partner Bissouma against Leicester. if not the other option is Bernardo who has played as a holding midfielder, I think.
