Just had to put a re install disc in and it did the install completely on its own back to factory settings. I then re installed the parts I wanted like Apache Office, Google Chrome etc again it does it for you. I thought that it may have been a case of somebody younger than me,who learnt...

I cannot find how to disable the touch pad but leaving the mouse connected seems to be working and I can still use either that or the touchpad.

thanks I will try that but it doesnt have a number lock key as it doesnt have a number pad. It is an old Compaq C500

I hng place ave reinstalled windows 7 on my granddaughters laptop but when typing script it often prints in the wro. As shown in bold I have tried a search on here and Google but cannot find a solution any help please.
