If that can be done so as to stop cyclists using A class roads that has to be a bonus . Make them only use B class roads so they only hold up tractors not cars, buses and lorries
As you can imagine I detest cyclists and the way they hog the road riding side by side.
Unfortunately in the name of progression and need a large area of countryside will be lost, that is inevitable, or you just scrap the idea completely and have the congestion etc.
They are not talking of such a comparatively small amount as I am sure I read the cost is about £10m per mile taking into account buying land and building the road etc.
Wasn't the original plan for Crossbush to go over the Arun via a bridge to join the dual carriageway just west of Arundel Hospital and the cricket ground and pub.
Wasn't this abandoned due to the cost which by now will have risen considerably. A dual carriageway/motorway is needed as originally planned from Folkestone to Honiton linking up with existing dual carriageways and motorways.
