last year we didnt improve our GD well enough but if we can do that this season in securing the points that would be a bonus but points are the foremost priority.

I may be jumping the gun and presuming too much but I believe that the 3rd place will be occupied by a team with less points than the top two rather than GD. So we must just keep taking the points and let the other teams worry about catching us.
