    It is not a Nugent obsession I just think that he probably offers the best solution of affordable home grown players. CH has belatedly solved the left back position next up is a support striker which he will do eventually.

    I would like to sign an unknown from Eastern Europe as he was if we cannot sign an established uk based striker. I did notice Ulloa not in the squad this week but I do not think he is the answer as too similar to Murray and Hemed.

    I would sooner look at David Nugent valued on transfermarket at £3.9m. Proven at this level time and again and I think that he would fit in well with both Murray and from the supply from Knockhaert.

    Our defence has tightened up since that game so I wouldnt expect him to repeat the scoring against us again, well not with such ease.

    But he continues to surprise people by scoring goals so he must have some attributes and ability if only to put the ball in the net.

    Nugent would be a cheaper option and also proved at this level than many that will be mentioned and I would say a better option than Hogan who has a terrible injury record that should cause concern to anybody wanting to spend mega bucks. Nugent is only 31 years old so not a has been.

    If Nahki Wells is valued at £8m I would think Brentford would want nearer £10m for him or even more,so it is a no for me as I am sure there are better options in Eastern Europe Spain or Ital giving the same ability but cheaper. There is also history between both chairmen so he wouldnt be...
