'Clubs eye Calderon after Brighton exit'

Obviously not rating Chicksen consideration of a possible injury or red card for LR must or should have been on the agenda as a distinct possibility. He is the one that should have been replaced as I have said on a months loan prior to deadline day but CH publicly said he was happy with the...

St Lukes was earmarked for closure long before I took my pub but due to financial pressure the nurses training program was cancelled and as a result the site was sold for housing around 1990 time . Your left back at Godalming would be playing for the people who 'robbed' Guildford City.

In simple terms so that you can understand. I have admiration for what Calderon achieved for us as a player in the past. I do not have adulation as many do as players, managers etc come and go but the club goes on generally. The reason I blame CH for that bad period when we took 6 points out...

No mention of the other club paying all of his wages, could they afford to?

What would be the advantage to us of signing him and loaning him out? Why not just release him and let him sign for one of those if he wished and he could still live in Brighton.

You are probably correct that like many I only see La Liga from BBC.co.uk/sport summarys.

    I echo that sentiment,.

We are going over old points. We should have gone to a Premier club and loaned a left back on a 1 month loan to tide us over and do not go down the route that there was none available, as I dont buy that with the numbers of Premier clubs to chose from.

I agree yes he has been great for us but football is ruthless if you can produce the goods ok you are in favour if you cant time to go no room for sentiment for sentiments sake.

Not his fault he tried but the fault was with CH for continuing to play him when he was obviously struggling. As I said on another thread one of CH 2 big mistakes but plenty of plus points.

That didnt help as I said at the time.

Just an opinion but I believe that playing him in December was responsible for our drop from the top of the league and then subsequent promotion. Mind I said it at the time and got slated but there you go it is my opinion and other people will have a different one.

As I said rejoining Gus was very tongue in cheek and I was really thinking on those lines.

You must be in the running to take the prize as the the biggest p..t on here. It is nothing whatsoever to do with trying to trash him., He has been a good servant to the club but showed this season that giving him another contract was one season to many as age had caught up with him and as...

'Clubs eye Calderon after Brighton exit'

That about rejoining Gus was very tongue in cheek. However, looking at La Ligu the top 3 sides had in excess of 88 points the next 4 down to Sevilla who had 52 then the next 12 teams dropping to the bottom side Levante with 32 and also Real Betis who finished in 10th had 45 so there is...

Bottom of La Ligue which like Scotland has about 3 or 4 decent teams. The rest are poor.

I cannot see many Championship sides being interested in him but possibly League 1 or even back in Spain with Gus at Real Betis!
