That doesnt mean he is up to British football. Orlandi could do that if his team in Cyprus won their league but it wouldnt make him a certain starter for us again.
It is desperation in that we are top of the league, unbeaten but suffering losing 2 of our most influential and best performing players. We are playing against a team trying to topple us from our perch who have the players available to do it, despite a having 3rd rate lower division manager...
Yes but desperate times make for desperate decisions which is what CH is paid for, some you win some you lose. I hope to win. Head tells me he will plump for March but I have been very disappointed with his performances so far this season.
Could be more to do with his attitude rather than ability as he has played at a decent level for most of his career. I just feel that unless they have shown a good side to them in training at this stage of the season and in our current position he would be a safer better bet than March or Manu...
In front of Manu and March yes but I think Rosenior is an almost definite to start wide right but I would prefer Colunga to either of the others out wide left in the absence of Murphy and Lua Lua.
Like nearly everybody else on here I do not have a data bank of available players but the top clubs will have players like Tex who are not in their 25 man squad and be better than we have available. Failing that I would throw the ball to Colunga and say go and prove what you can do.
The loan market allows us to bring in better quality players, that we couldnt afford or get normally. Yes it can go wrong like Best and Gardner who was rubbish for us but has been good for Forest, but in most cases it helps a team overcome a short term problem like ours.
What are these wide options you talk of with Murphy & Lua Lua missing March being very inconsistent beyond belief and Manu appearing to not be able to step up to the mark when he has come on as a sub? We are desperate for cover for Murphy and Lua Lua exactly what the emergency loans were...
Last time was not a true reflection coming back from injury and played out of position by Hyppia. CH knows all about him and his play so would bring the best out of him.
I can understand that logic but would rather he be on the bench until he can come on as a sub and show he has what is required in this division, time is on his side due to his age dont lets ruin his potential.
I think, note only think, it is 5pm today but I seem to remember us signing a player on loan when we were at Withdean at 4pm and he played that evening. It may be more to do with when the FL office closes to register him.
