.sTaking into account the ages I am glad that we signed Ward rather than Bridge, who has hardly played this season for Reading. Dont get me wrong Bridge was great but is well past his best before date, hence the preference for Ward.

I wasnt impressed with Obika yesterday as he didnt hold the ball up as well even as Ulloa having a bad game. He was quick but I saw nothing else to suggest that we should try to sign him permenantly but am prepared to give him the time to get used to our style and system of play.

I think Ward has been an improvement on Bridge; as regards Ulloa could he have received a phone call from a countryman Who at the moment is a no 2 at a Premier club, especially if they sell Fletcher to Celtic.
