I have said it before and will say it again, this is not the thread to start speculating what went wrong, professional people will do that with a full enquiry so just show respect for many people who are seriously affected by this tragedy.

Tragically it would appear there will be more fatalities once the wreckage of the jet is moved. I suspect the figure has come around from people reported missing.
