Seems like a fair comment from someone who has actually experienced both grounds. I bet when the whole of Falmer sings "Albion", it's louder than their ground trying to belt one out.
If we doubled the size of the North, (which would be a massive amount of work) it would be about 5,000. We don't have that many fans to fill it atm, so we would have more empty seats.
Also, I don't think the size of this North Stand is too different to that of the Goldstone's. Nor the rake of...
Firstly, I don't think the atmosphere is that bad. Sometimes it's very good.
But, the problem is is that it isn't as good as the first couple of seasons. In those seasons, the West Stand sang a lot more and was louder. It's really dipped up there. When they used to sing, the rest of the ground...
Not sure if I've watched their last couple of games, but the last one I did see was the same old group in the corner jumping up and down every time the camera got near them, and no singing from the rest of the ground. They would've been lucky to get 15,000 when they weren't doing so well in the...
Yes, the North Stand does need to be bigger, but the only way to do that would be by taking the roof off and building into the offices!
It's not actually that small though compared to teams like Bournemouth, just looks small compared to the rest of the ground, and also the gradient doesn't help...
No they don't. They have 30 hooded chavs in a corner, with a drum and mic right infront of them. The rest of the ground never sing like I've seen at The Albion.
