    Very true I’d argue taking injuries out of the equation and ignoring stupid positional deployment then you’re talking about two out of those 8 so actually a pretty good hit rate.

    Very similar to the first season actually if you look at the numbers [roughly £55-60m in each transfer window]. The wages might shift slightly but I doubt acquisitions from Ligue 1, Eredivisie etc command the same requirements as bringing people in from established Prem or even Championship...

    Yes. Our transfer spend and wage bill are both 19th out of 20 therefore 17th is punching.
