I never thought I'd get so excited about baseball. I'm even considering going to Chinatown and getting some FAKE Blue Jays merchandise to show my support.
I'm basing my findings on observations made walking around the downtown area, not particularly scientific. Also, I don't own any Jays merchandise so I've already disproved my own argument.
But there are a LOT of people walking around, looking like the Blue Jays Store has thrown up on them.
I have been here in January before, so I know what it's like. It's not like it's going to come as a big shock.
So what if they get snow storms? I'm just going to try and make the most of living here rather than moan about the weather (which is what everyone does in the UK anyway).
I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with a newspaper from 1944, I imagine there were more British deaths then.

As I've just moved to Toronto it seems only right to jump on the Blue Jays BANDWAGON. I'm pretty sure EVERYONE in Toronto owns a piece of Jays merchandise.
