I am not advocating racial profiling for a second HWT. That post was about looking at the causes of of crime to try and reduce it. The poster I responded to thought we do this too much and I disagree.

Why is there too much analysis? What is the down side? I would have thought that analysing the stats would throw up some significant factors on the reason behind some crimes. Reducing these factors could then reduce crime, surely what everyone would like?
