yes it will. The car will always be required everywhere. The change we can make is in how it is used.

Car culture is already changing, many people including myself have made changing to their driving habits. there is more car pooling than there once was, even lanes that cannot be used by people with one person in the car and more people are choosing to walk or cycle instead of driving short...

That kind of political cooperation would be fantastic. I personally hold out more hope for technology to find a away in a more regionalised manner.

Of course, because they will then have absolute power and we know how corrupting that is. Hopefully it will be less environmentally damaging though.

As someone who has chosen to live in Geelong I think it has a great deal to offer and the potential to offer a whole lot more. I love the place and think it is a fantastic placeto live and bring up my planet destroying kids.

I just don't understand this argument. We absolutely rely on oil in many many areas of our life so we have no right to expect the companies that provide it to act in an environmentally or socially responsible manner. We sorry to disappoint but I do and I applaud those who challenge them and...

Cost of petrol doesn't worry me too much as I don't use my car very often. Cost of the damage done to our planet is more of a worry to me. Thanks to those brave women for doing something about it.
