I tried wipes but not that brand, I use the cheaper range from Toolstation, fine for hands but not good enough for labels. Will give them a go, thanks.

To be honest there is a chemical available from Toolstation for removing labels, I looked earlier and its £13. When I worked on new housing developments I did leave the labels on, but I was on price work and time was money, and contract cleaners come onto site before houses are handed over. Now...

Post #67 nail varnish remover is the tip. I'm going to try this as I spend far too long trying to remove labels on some jobs.

I can't disagree with what you say but I earn a living fixing these toilet cisterns. Some can be fiddly to fix but every day is a challenge.

Takes longer to get the labels off than it does to fit the toilet :rant:
