What is stopping you moving back to Sussex? I know property is expensive in Brighton and I haven't got a clue what the property prices are where you live in comparison.

I think in the North Laine section I would change, ' teenage girl wearing Led Zeppelin t- shirt ' for someone under the age of 14 wearing a Ramones t- shirt :)

If you are asking me " am I a Brightonian because I support the Albion? " I would say no. You have said you were born and bred elsewhere, and also said you have lived near Brighton for 28 years, no mention of actually living in Brighton. This is based on my personal opinion ( already...

No I meant on the subject of what you thought of Brighton, or what is your opinion of who is a Brightonian? Just asking if you had any input on the topic.

The logic makes sense. But I personally wouldn't call myself a ' Newhavener ' ( yes some people call themselves that. ) just because I now live here. A mate is a born and bred Scouser, and just laughs if I tell him some people would call him a Brightonian because he now lives there...

Yes but he mentions ' mindset ' and ' spirit ' Surely the OAP Brightonian thinks much differently to a " I've moved down from Surrey " 30 year old media type.

I think I'm getting what you are trying to say, but I just can't think of words to describe it. Not really 100% sure TBH.

Born in Brighton and raised in Brighton, and that's Brighton , not the new City of Brighton and Hove. I was born near Brighton station, grew up and went to school in Brighton and lived in various areas of the town ( before it became a city ) for 34 years. I can't speak for Norman, but he's...

I don't think I have ever met someone NOT originally fom Brighton that calls themselves a Brightonian. Newspapers mention it, for example " Brightonian Norman Cook " just because he lives in errrr Hove .
