Better than the Bay City Rollers all day long :)

I saw them at Jenkinsons Brighton October 1980, a mate had Life in a Day single which I liked, but I hadn't heard anything else by them. Did anyone else see them at Jenkinsons? From what I remember it didn't go very well that night, I wasn't that impressed with them.
