Spot on, they are singing one song, usually a crap one when the others in the North are singing We are Brighton from the South, and that's when the WSU sometimes join in.

Near the start of the first half that lot from under the control box were singing that strange Sussex By The Sea, don't even know what tune it is( not the usual version) then you lot started singing, and plenty of people joined in.
No I didn't hear them on Saturday, but I was replying to your OP about us only having a few songs.
If some of the old songs were sung more often it would be better IMO, at the Goldstone we didn't make up a new song every 5 minutes, and TBH that lot under the control box need to take that on board.
I'm at the North end of the WSU so I can here the North Stand singing clearly, on Saturday some of the group tried singing a new song, can't even remember what it was or who it was about, but it went down like a lead balloon.

La, la, la, la la la la Brighton ( hey Jude tune)
Plenty of decent old chants, just need singing louder/ more often.
