    I am well aware of the problems facing the younger generation, especially housing costs. We have 3 children aged, 35, 32 and 30. None of them own their own property and are renting in the private sector. Nevertheless, they all work pretty hard and have done since being teenagers when they worked...

    Exactly, so if this cohort that are unwilling to face 35/40 hours a week want a decent future and ‘prospects’, then they will have to develop some resilience and face reality. The alternative would not be pleasant.
