I'd definitely advise giving it another go. Honestly one of my favourite albums. It's the jazzy elements to it that I enjoy the most. Being a bass player as well I really pick out music with cracking bass lines and CEG have those in abundance!

Hopefully this hasn't been mentioned already (I do love introducing music to people) but Cymbals Eat Guitars have released their third album 'LOSE'. Fell in love with this band when their first album 'Why There Are Mountains' dropped a few years ago and they've just gotten better and better.

I'll queue it up next. Got to love Spotify!

Stanley Brinks and The Wave Pictures - Gin is a great record. Saw them play live at the Albert a couple of months ago with Freschard in support. Very nice slices of Parisian pop.
