All evidence suggests it was correct... and we know because (a) Leicester immediately went for other players at other clubs once Maguire was sold... and... (b) the Argus correctly debunked the Leicester Mercury article about a zillion days before Maguire actually went that claimed that the Dunk...

I'm with you on this CJ... they don't get it 100% right, 100% of the time, but they are far, far more reliable then almost any other Albion-related source...

Well, nobody can 100% guarantee, but I trust the 95% certain to stay estimate that our club shared with our local newspaper far more than the already-looking-stupid Leicester Mercury...
