Coached, not managed, and definitely NOT the perfect choice. Biggest problem for me is his confrontational approach, which Tony will loathe. Add to that he has zero experience of being a manager in the Championship, and only 6 months overall, admittedly in the Prem.
Most, as in more NSC posters voted for him than any other manager in the NSC poll, and the one in the Argus.
I agree it's unlikely to happen, but by far the best choice IMHO.
Errr... let's cross that bridge when and if it comes to it! The reason most fans want Pulis is because he is the most likely to get us out of the mess Sami has created. You can't say, "Don't want X, because X is actually good at his job, so might get poached!". You'd never hire anyone any good...
I don't get this. We need EXACTLY someone like Pulis to address the mess Sami has created so majestically for us. It is a pressing need. IF Pulis gets poached after saving us, THEN so be it.
How does the, err, confrontational Timmy fit with the rather obvious need to get in an experienced manager, who knows how to manage a Championship club to success on the pitch?
Ans. He doesn't. So it's a big "No" from me.
