I kind of agree, but would put more emphasis on the gradual decline in the strength of our squad since Gus left. For me, Sami gets the bulk of the blame for our current predicament, but Burke should also be blamed for a significant drop-off in the quality of our squad from top 6 to about mid-table.

My opinion is that there should be a review precisely in order to get to the root causes of the undoubted player recruitment failings as evidenced by the 'results'. Conclusion: you (and your cronies) are either playing dumb, or are, in fact, just ignorant.

I didn't mention PB. I have previously said the club needs to review its player recruitment strategy, that includes DB, his team, budgets, getting deals done timely, etc. etc. Bottom-line - DB IS responsible for player recruitment - a key element of his job. He has to be accountable.

I half listened to the FF. Realised pretty quickly the BS machine had been turned up to 11 to cover the club's failings in getting players in, and zoned out. If you chose to believe the spin doctor clap-trap that was spouted by our beloved leadership, then more fool you.

Hate to say it, but I told you so (several weeks ago). The whole player recruitment strategy needs to be reviewed and that most definitely includes DB and his team, who IS responsible for player acquisitions.
