Correct. Because your premise is bollox.
  2. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Your whole argument is based on a premise that is bollox. Well done.
  3. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Great. Let the bidding war commence. We might actually get the fee we want now. No need to cave-in to Sunderland's initial p1ss-taking offer.
  4. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Consider it a service for the entertainment value you provide. No charge.
  5. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Thank you for noting my wisdom, but my post was highly relevant.
  6. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

So you are sure that the clubs have already agreed the fee. How do you know that? Oh and I have never played FM. And do not be so condescending.
  7. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

You said "The values won't be far apart at all in my view." You're right, you didn't suggest it, you stated it.
  8. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Quite possibly. Did I say it wouldn't?
  9. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

OK. Tony/David would be a VERY poor negotiator IF he let Sunderland know what the minimum acceptable bid would be. Do you agree with that? If not, I'm happy to explain further.
  10. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

You didn't, but suggested that it must be the case that the clubs weren't far apart in their bid/valuation. This suggests that you think Sunderland know they only have to raise their £2M bid by a very small amount to secure the deal, i.e. they know that just over £2M is acceptable to Brighton...
  11. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

    Fair enough.
  12. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

I'm sure they all have their opinion. I said Oscar will be a key player in the valuations. Not the one and only valuer.
  13. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

    I think he might, yes.
  14. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Yeah, 'cause like disagreeing with another poster on a forum is, like, a major 'no, no'! ;-)
  15. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Think about it. Gus may think he's worth £5M. Oscar may say £3M. Whoever is the manager/head coach, will be a key player in valuing the club's assets.
  16. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

I certainly don't know what happens at Sunderland, but to think Gus has no say is, well, naive.
  17. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

Any valuation will have been reevaluated under Oscar.
  18. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

I think you would be a very poor negotiator. IF you are selling, you NEVER give away your min price. Trust me, I used to do it as a job.
  19. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

How don you think it works then Glasfryn? GUs has no say at all?
  20. B.W.

    Sunderland offer

True, but I'm sure Gus has a say in what is bid, it's just whether the Sunderland board agree to bid what Gus says he's worth: Gus: "we should up the bid to £3M/£4M..." Board: either "Yes" or "No".
