Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

I don't need to move on: I'm more than happy with our current chairman, board, and manager. The DK sycophants (and Gus ones) are the ones that need to do so.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

Interesting. My recollection of the order of events is a bit different to yours, but if you say so. I can't be bothered to ask for evidence!

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

I think it would have been better for him (DK) to be a little more circumspect.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

I have expressed my undying gratitude for what Dick did for our club, even on this thread, whilst he was chairman. Recently, a few years after he left that position, he seems to be the one sticking the knife in to the current regime. Silly.

Lucky guesses. Loads of them on here. Some (very few) turn out to be right.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

No. Nothing to do with my age. I was responding to a rather offensive post suggesting that those showing any sign of empathy with TB and/or PB should receive some award for sycophancy. I was merely pointing out that there should be a similar one for those who can see no wrong in DK (the phrase...

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

Absolutely. Amazing achievements in the face of extreme adversity. I'll say it again, I'll always be grateful to Dick, for being the leading figure in saving the club (and for contributing to the success we achieved on the pitch).

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

Post-DK the club let the media know, when they want to let the media know. Not before.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

OK, fair enough. GP's actions gave TB little choice. Let's not go there. DK is still life president, but rightfully lost control of the club when TB invested the amount he invested to make DK's dream a reality. Yes, in both cases, TB made the right decisions in the interests of our club.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

Maybe one for the DK lickers too then!?

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

There were some seriously amateur-hour antics: Think about promised transfers that never materialised. I especially liked DK's '5 players in' one (after repeated failures to sign), then being forced to sign some useless Irish player to make up the numbers. Think about DK lording it on the...

DK outstayed his welcome. He had to go. As for Gus...

Careful. How dare you use facts.
  15. B.W.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

Translation: The club was run like Dick Knight's plaything, amateur-hour personified. Now its run extremely professionally by big-hitting businessmen as a big-hitting business.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

Well said. There really are some ungrateful tw@ts on here.
  17. B.W.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

You seriously fail to understand Tony Bloom's motivation. Ah well, to each his/her own. But you are sooo wrong.
  18. B.W.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

You are spot on, and in no way hoodwinked.

Dick's book officially not stocked at the club shop.

Vanity project. Really!? Yes, because Tony doesn't stop trying to hog the limelight, does he!? Compare with Dick Knight and his 'centre-stage' approach. You seem a tad ungrateful.
