I've seen two fine French films recently.
Poupoupidou (English title - Nobody Else But You) is a crime/dark comedy about a writer who stumbles into the case of the death of a local TV starlet. The main actor, Jean-Paul Rouve, was excellent. I liked it a lot - 8.6/10.
Le Prénom is a dinner...
Not sure if it's come out in the UK yet but I saw "Serge Gainsbourg - vie héroique" at the weekend.
Was really looking forward to it as Gainsbourg is a bit of legend in my book but it was a touch too surreal for a biopic - 6.3/10.
However, it must be said that Laetitia Casta playing Brigitte...
