    Ashley Barnes wasn't a lone striker. But when Ulloa was out injured he was used as such. He was able to grow in that role and improve, and on course to becoming a decent enough lone striker. Most of his goals came when he had grown familiar with the role, his better performances in that role...

    No, but I find it weird how quick people are to dismiss league one strikers, yet still think our biggest transfer mistake of recent times was not (re-)signing then league one striker Glen Murray.
