Wow, I did not realise it has been over two years, but season two starts this week.

Like so much of The Returned’s first series, the stand-off and ensuing fight was all about atmosphere, and not about didactic storytelling. Who survived, what happened to the police, why the dead left...
I liked it, knowing that a second season is coming. I feel like if they gave us too much, they would be stretching for more info. Where did they go? What happened to the police outside? Is Lena pregnant, too? Will Serge (or is it toni?) rise from the dead, will his mother forgive him...
Another episode where I didn't make note of much on re-watching, so it was probably more important than I realised...
Ep 6
-That little girl doesn't know how to play truth or dare. You don't get to pick for other people. Her mother might have picked dare.
Ep 5 (last one should have been ep 4, not 3)
-Why did julie's catwoman costume not have a whip? Wouldn't have helped he stave off an attack, but would have rounded out the ensemble nicely.
-I want to buy a mobile phone so I can axe it to smithereens.
-mrs costa seemed aware of victors thoughts...
I am going to continue my rewatch before catching up on last night's episode, so have skipped over any new posts since last night.
Ep 3
-The people at the power plant have orders not to tell the authorities about the odd water that is showing up there.
-Twins aren't really that linked are...
I've not rewatched after episode three yet, so missed that. I think in that case it is more about second deaths than about Simon. I still think victor and mr costa are the keys to everything.
Simon was hungry. He smashed a glass over the head of the bar owner who refused to serve him any food as simon didn't have the money, and adele brought him food while he hid out in her loft. Isn't there still some mystery over his death? He might not have wanted to die, per se.
Adele's daughter does too. She then goes to the toilet and when she tries to wash her hands lake water fills the sink from the plug hole (it also fills the toilets in the pub in a later episode)
Just rematches the third episode. There isn't much that seemed to stand out, except Jeremy suggests the family move away so Camille doesn't have to hide, but I remember in a later episode Camille tells her mother he only wants to do that because he wants to get back with her, so it seemed like...
My current idea is that mr costa is the one who shot victor and everyone. Victor returned early and haunted him, maybe somehow exposing him to his wife, so costa killed her. That he is sere's father, that victor has been seeking revenge/balance, that he caused the coach to crash because he...
That is the doctor's explanation. He sees the wound and thinks its a case of an old wound becoming infected, and the only thing she can remember hitting her in that area is her dad. But there is a hint that it might be related to the dead returning.
She is a clairvoyant who can only...
On rewatching episode two
-Thomas was one of the three policemen who told Adler about simon's death. He seemed so certain Simon was dead. Did he play some part in it?
-adding to the mr costa thing, he is said to have been almost 75 when he died, which would have made him 40 when victor was...
On rematch of episode one, it is easier to keep track of things having watched several episodes and now being able to keep tack of everyone.
-to answer an earlier question, the dam workers spied mr costa through binoculars, so there is that interaction
-the whole everyone being revenantes would...
