Freddie Simmonds and Harry Howell have once again been called up to the England U-16 squad, this time for the Val-de-Marne Tournament in France. England play Japan on Oct 31, France on Nov 2 and Switzerland on Nov 4.
Did he actually score against Hereford? He only made four appearances for Torquay (two starts, two as sub) and, according to this Torquay United historical site, he didn't score a goal - Torquay Fans Forum (maybe that's why he never got the credit!).

Also, Albion U-16 Adam Brett is currently with the Wales U-17 squad for the Syrenki Cup Tournament in Poland.
He started in yesterday's match versus the hosts, earned a penalty in the 27th minute and played for an hour. Poland won 7-2.
Wales play Romania tomorrow and Georgia on Thursday.
He scored one goal in ten appearances for the U-18s last season.
I believe someone on here mentioned he was Jack Hinshelwood's cousin, so presumably Jamie Howell married Adam's sister (edit: or Adam married Jamie's sister, of course)?
