He was on the bench for the Lithuanian U-21s just before his original injury, when he was still 16, so he clearly has something about him. Let's hope he gets a chance to now show it.
Joined us in the summer of 2017 to commence his scholarship. Centre-back. He was captain of the Lithuanian U-17s. Did his ACL in just his 3rd appearance for the U-18s that September. Had surgery, but 7 months later discovered he would have to undergo another surgery. Finally returned to action...
Whilst Baluta started his career as a centre-back, Gheorghe Hagi didn't think he was physical enough at his age and moved him into a defensive midfield role where he played most of last season (and where he played in the national team).
There will definitely be a stream as the match is being broadcast on the FloSports website. It just remains to be seen whether Albion choose to make it available in the UK.
I imagine they will.
