Absolutely be furious with the performances then. I sure as hell was. But there is a massive difference between playing Fulham and playing Chelsea, and it seems some people don't seem to grasp that.
And if it comes down to goal difference at the end of the season and we stay up, will you be disappointed we did so because we didn't go at teams more and concede more goals?
Because our players aren't quick enough to do it and the opposition players are some of the best in world football who don't just "get pressed" easily.
How can you "show fight" when you can't get hold of the ball? We did show fight for the first 60 minutes, we were undone by one mistake (which happens) and two world class goals.
Honestly Chris is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. He sets up defensively in games like this and people...
So many toys out of pram. The problem was losing on Saturday, those are the games we need to be doing better in. Rocking up at Stamford Bridge and getting beaten is what teams outside the top 6 do, repeatedly.
Kayal must be a bit gutted not to get a game after the abject display our CMs produced between them on Saturday. Please for Andone, Izquierdo must be getting near starting now surely? Hope he gets a fair few minutes tonight come what may.
We do have a bit of a knack for picking off the out of form big teams when we've played them (United, Arsenal) but normally at home. But you never know, we'll still likely lose but I don't think it's a slam dunk as if we were playing at the Etihad.
