Last one from me because it's getting a bit alarming now. Clearly my formative years in music and quite surprised how easily the memories have come flooding back. I was 10 years old in '79 and I seem to remember it like it was yesterday!

I'm taking this thread as UK Top 40 charts. 79- 83 were some of reggae's golden years so no point listing reggae singles outside of UK pop charts as we'd be here forever. One that immediately springs to mind though that broke into the UK Top 40 was this scorcher from the late great Dennis...
