I can see what your saying about team spirit but as is mentioned on the post above - the club despite being in the lowest division were on a high, what with "coming home" and all, and this IMO was the reason there was such a harmony within the team/fans and not Micky Adams doing.

Mickey Adams is nowhere near a Brighton Legend. I rate him more for what he has done for the club since he left , i.e. attendance on marches etc., than for things he did while manager. Ordinary manager that got lucky with the Zammo signing IMO.
