He used to live in the same road as me. When he sold the house, Chris Hutchings bought it. I used to see both of them back in the day.

I saw him sat on his own on a bank of grass in Hove Park around the time it was announced he was leaving for Burnley. A penny for his thoughts, I thought, not the time to ask him for his shirt….
