If we get five CL places this year (as looks likely) and the cups are won by teams in the top five or six (thus freeing up a Europa place and a Conference place for League positions) then I think 8th. place could be enough for a Conference League place. Wouldn't complain...........................
Trust the tracker? Six games unbeaten, last two games successful away wins, and now the tracker predicts 3 easy points at home! Oh dear, oh dear!
(P.S. Yes, I do understand the algorithm this thread uses!)
Not when it's a step too far, too soon, no.
Although we scraped through some of those matches by the skin of our teeth...............and then we were schooled by Roma. All in all, if we'd had a choice, I'd have gone Conference.
CL? Big ask! TBH, I'm not that bothered about the CL, I would rather enjoy a season in the European Conference League; winnable - and a real trophy! The Europa was, let's be honest, a step too far for us last season. The CL would probably be the same - rather than running before we can walk...
Yes, and behind Spurs (as well as being behind Arsenal and Chelsea if they draw).
Forest win or draw would suit us better - keep Spurs in their place. Longer term our chances of finishing ahead of Forest are stronger than staying ahead of Spurs.
Can we have a ban for the first person to ask, for instance, "Why are we expected to lose to United at home - surely we're likely to get at least a point?"
