Setting him being a bit of a knob aside, when did a manager's contract or the board not wanting him to leave ever stop a manager leaving if he wanted to go?
I don't think its mad that Thomas Frank would be on our shortlist of managers. And he's been there six years - eight years if you include his time as assistant - might be thinking time for a change. What other teams above Brentford in the premier league might be looking for a new manager?
OK, say there is truth in this, what do we think? Would mean that Frank thought a ceiling had been reached at Brentford whereas he could go higher with Brighton. Clearly a good manager. A sensible appointment I would reckon. Keramik perhaps?
