We came back from Loughborough that way on Saturday evening. Sat Nav said it was still the quickest route...and it was. Quick diversion from J11 through Weybridge and Cobham, and then the M25 was like this the rest of the way....

Sussex Cricket Academy have got to be at Loughborough Uni first thing Saturday morning, & I was just going to leave very early AM with my lad - but now leaving Friday lunchtime and booked a Travelodge up there for the Friday night, instead of contending with diversions and / or the longer way...
