All this relief at being able to get to airports via various means….. but no guarantee flights going as Italian Ministry website strike page says air travel could be affected too!

It shows the skeleton service trains which Government insist run on strike days. I guess could change for next Friday, IF there is a strike, but not likely.

You need to look at the link above showing which trains run on normal strike days….. and then try to guess if one is yours as it only gives the start/finish points/times!

Yep, looks like their 23/24 Feb strike when impact only confirmed several days before. But we don't yet know its definitely happening- clearly the unions have registered their intent, so guess likely to be carried through.

Now that is weird, as I agree not on Rome to Florence but it is on Rome to Pisa where we are going!

We are all focussed on trains, but also hoping if "General Strike" it doesn't affect airports too- baggage handling/check in/cleaners etc! The Italian Ministry website in Bozza's post above mentions "air".

If you are looking at Italo train website there is a warning at top of 8th March page.

So not just trains- planes and cars on motorway too?! So we will all be trapped boozing in Rome for another day with the rugby Jocks unable to get over!
