Indeed. I did it at the weekend (irony of having two rome trips within 10 days..) and it worked ok. Tubes there are super cheap and easy to navigate- ForestRowSeagull

if no trains you can get the subway out to the end of the A line (stop is Anagnina) and get bus from there. Its about 20 mins on the subway and ten min bus- ForestRowSeagull

07:00 train from Rome to Naples on the friday morning. our flight is at 10:20 i think. And there's some things published re guaranteed trains but i dont think that one is on there- ForestRowSeagull
