TBF that is quite a valid point, it has dropped out of common British English usage to the extent where it sounds like an Americanism even though it isn't. (Like 'soccer'). However I still like it (and use it myself). Anyway, in true NSC style we've gone right off topic! :lolol:

O/T: Oooh, I hope you don't think that because you think it's a dreadful Americanism? Like 'dropped' for 'released' and 'Can I get' rather than 'Please may I have?' It's older than the USA, it's one of many Old English words that have survived in America but have fallen out of use here. 'Fall'...
