My first line was “it’s a horrible disease”. It’s killed one in law and ruined another.

Nope. I’m just contrasting this with the absolutely horrible time my sister in law had when she got her diagnosis and lost her job and house.

Was he on the 6 o clock news?

Why? It’s pretty clear he’ll get through it. Hundreds of people get this news every day. He’s at the front of the queue for treatment isn’t he?

Horrible disease for sure but it’s not like he’s going to be sitting out an NHS waiting list from a mouldy council flat.
