Having seen it again, I'm sticking with it being Dunk's fault. The Stoke player anticipated it and was on the move, and by the time Dunk played the ball, Pedro had no chance.
It's a mistake we make every single game, De Zerbi needs to find an alternative to the long ball down the middle to Pedro.
I think it is technically in play until the ref blows the whistle. Just like a lot of foul throws are allowed to go unpunished, as they don't want to stop the game for what is usually a minor infringement.
